Replacement hydraulic accessories for industrial trash compactors — fittings, gauges, couplings, filters, and reservoir components. The small parts that make every hydraulic system work and fail predictably enough to keep in standing stock.
Hydraulic accessories are everything that isn't a pump, valve, or cylinder — but every accessory matters. A leaking fitting drains an entire reservoir overnight. A low oil level you can't see starves the pump. A clogged filter destroys a pump. Stocking the most-replaced accessories is the cheapest hydraulic system maintenance you can do.
PRT stocks the standard industrial fittings (NPT, JIC, SAE O-ring), couplings, return-line and suction filters, and reservoir hardware (breathers, fill caps, drain valves). Our best sellers are gauges: 3-inch and 5-inch sight gauges for checking reservoir oil level at a glance, and pressure gauges with color-coded or standard black-and-white dials. Most ship same day.
For fittings and couplings, match by thread type (NPT, JIC, SAE O-ring) and thread size. For sight gauges, match the length (3-inch or 5-inch) and the bolt spacing on the reservoir. For pressure gauges, pick a range above the system's working pressure and a dial style: color-coded dials show the normal operating zone at a glance, and black-and-white dials give a clean reading for diagnostics.
A sight gauge is the cheapest way to catch a leak early. If the oil level drops between checks, find the leak before the pump runs dry.
Replace the return-line filter every 1,000 hours or annually, whichever comes first. Replace the suction strainer with every oil change. Filters are cheap; pumps and valves are not.
Yes. PRT fittings follow industry-standard thread specs (NPT, JIC, SAE O-ring). They're dimensionally interchangeable with major-brand fittings — specify by thread type and size, not brand.
